Club Field Trip

  We are looking forward to a great Field Trip season this coming year. Hopfully, we will be able to gather as a group. Until then, be safe.More details will be coming out as we have them.

The trips will be led by our club secretary Dave Offret and our club facebook page manager Ron Yoeman.

Club Meeting

January's meeting will be held virtually at 7:00 PM on Tuesday the 26th. Please refer to the Buzzer for details of how to join or contact one of the Board members. 

Club Board Meeting

The next Board meeting will be February 4th, 2021. It will be held virtually. Board Meeting is usually held on the first Thursday of the month at 6:30, except for December, at the Golden Hours Center(closed due to Covid 19) In Ogden. Members are welcome.


   The objectives of the club are to stimulate interest in the collection of rocks, minerals, gem materials, and legal fossils. To discuss and impart our knowledge of the different phases of collecting, cutting, polishing and displaying them.  Also to organize educational meetings, field trips and similar events while enjoying and protecting our natural resources. We also have a lapidary lab on Tuesday Night from 5:30 until 9:00(Due to Covid 19, the lapidary lab is closed until the Golden Hours Center reopens) 

     Visitors are always Welcome

  We normally meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month, at 7:00 P.M., Our meetings are usually held at the Golden Hours Center(closed due to Covid) 650 25 th Street,  Ogden , Utah. The August meeting is a picnic; and the November and December meeting days may be changed due to the holidays.
