May 20 - Hanksville Area. We'll collect Petrified Wood, Geodes and Coprolite. Let Dave Offret know if you are going. As always, Let Dave Offret, the club field trip leader and the Club Board members know what you would like to collect and places you would like to go.
Club Meeting
May 23, The program this month will be on Gold Panning. Evening starts with a Meet & Greet at 6.00, and a silent auction. With the Program starting at 6:30. It is held at the Golden Hours Senior Center 650 25th St, Ogden UT
Club Board Meeting
The next Board meeting will be June 6th, 2023. It will be held virtually. Board Meeting is usually held on the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00, except for December, Club members are welcome.
The objectives of the club are to stimulate interest in the collection of rocks, minerals, gem materials, and legal fossils. To discuss and impart our knowledge of the different phases of collecting, cutting, polishing and displaying them. Also to organize educational meetings, field trips and similar events while enjoying and protecting our natural resources. We also have a lapidary lab on Tuesday Night from 5:30 until 9:00 by appointment.
Visitors are always Welcome
We normally meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month, with a Meet & Greet At 6:00 and the program starting at 6:30 PM. Our meetings are held at the Golden Hours Center, 650 25 th Street, Ogden , Utah. The August meeting is a picnic; and the November and December meeting days may be changed due to the holidays.
